The MPRE Course Is Free. All of It.
Professional responsibility is a box every candidate has to tick, and charging for it would be charging for the privilege of being allowed to practise. The complete MPRE course from AccelaStudy® AI Bar costs nothing, subscription or not.

The reasoning
Why We Give This One Away
The MPRE is a gate, not a competition. Nearly every jurisdiction requires it, it is scored separately from the bar exam, and there is no version of your career where passing it is optional. Selling a gate back to the people who have to walk through it is not a business we want to be in.
There is a self-interested reason too, and it is worth saying out loud: the MPRE is usually a candidate’s first encounter with this engine. If a free ethics course is the thing that convinces you the adaptive part actually works, that is a fair trade for both of us. If it doesn’t, you have lost nothing and you still passed the MPRE.
No credit card. No time limit. No feature stripped out to make the paid tier look better.
What’s included
The Whole Engine, Not a Sampler
Free courses across the AccelaStudy AI family run the full adaptive engine — the same activity formats, the same proficiency tracking, the same visualisations, the same Autopilot. What’s limited on a free account is which courses you can take, never what the engine does inside them.
It maps what you already know
Most candidates arrive with more professional-responsibility instinct than they think, and blind spots in odd places. The first session sorts one from the other so you are not re-reading conflicts rules you already have.
It finds the actual confusion
Missing a question about a fee agreement usually is not a fee-agreement problem — it is a formation-of-the-relationship problem one step upstream. That is where you get sent.
Timed practice at exam format
Practice sessions and full-length simulation in the Exam Simulator, with a score report and question-by-question review afterwards. Composed fresh each time, so you learn the standards rather than an answer key.
A plan that fits a real semester
Give Autopilot your test date and the minutes a day you can spare. It builds the schedule and rebuilds it when a week disappears, which during 2L is most weeks.
Timing
Take It Early. Take It Once.
The single most common scheduling mistake is leaving the MPRE until bar summer, where it competes with the thing that actually decides your admission.
- 2L or early 3L is the sweet spot. The material is manageable, you have quiet weeks, and clearing it removes an item from the bar-season list before that list gets frightening.
- It is a separate exam on its own schedule. The MPRE is administered independently of the bar exam, on its own dates, with its own registration — NCBE publishes the dates and your jurisdiction sets the passing score it will accept.
- Check what your jurisdiction requires. Passing scores differ, and a few jurisdictions handle professional responsibility differently. Your board of bar examiners is the authority; we prepare you for the exam, not for the admissions paperwork.
- Free means you can start today and stop. There is nothing to cancel and nothing accruing, so there is no reason to wait until you feel ready to commit.
And when bar season does arrive, everything you proved during MPRE prep is already in your profile. Moving up to the full AccelaStudy AI Bar subscription starts you with credit for it rather than from zero — which is the whole argument for starting early on anything.
