The Engine

It Studies You While You Study

Bar review hands every candidate the same lecture schedule. This does the opposite — it works out what you actually know, then spends your hours on the rest.

  1. It learns you at the concept level

Not “you’re weak in Evidence” — weak in hearsay exceptions under 803(3). The picture updates after every answer you give, every essay you submit, every rule you type from memory.

  2. It finds the real reason you missed it

A blown Contracts question often isn’t a Contracts problem. When your error traces back to something upstream — a definition, a threshold test, a rule you half-learned in 1L — that is what you get sent to work on.

  3. It brings the missing foundation to you

When a gap traces back to material from another subject, a short plain-language refresher appears right where you need it: under the section that depends on it, or straight after the answer that hinged on it. Written for your situation, not pulled off a shelf.

  4. It picks the next thing on purpose

Every question, essay prompt, and drill is selected because it teaches you the most in the least time. There is no fixed playlist and no filler week.

  5. It plans the season, then re-plans it

Give it your exam date and how many minutes a day you actually have. Autopilot builds the schedule, and quietly rebuilds it the week life gets in the way — without you having to start over.

  6. It tells you when you are ready

A running pass probability with a confidence band, projected forward to exam day. You find out you are short in April, not in July.

Where the points are

The Bar Rewards Writing. So We Grade Writing.

Multiple choice is half the exam. The other half is produced under a clock, by hand, and it is where most repeat takers lose. Four of the six things below exist only because of that.

Unlimited AI-graded essays

Write an MEE-style essay under exam timing. Get it back in under a minute against a transparent, point-by-point rubric — which issues you hit, which rules you misstated, and what a passing answer says. There is no submission limit. Ever.

Performance tasks in a real workspace

MPT and NextGen performance tasks in a split-pane workspace — task memo, file, and library side by side, 90-minute clock running. Graded on following instructions and quality of analysis: the two things real graders score.

Rule-statement drills

The highest-leverage bar skill: state the rule from memory. Type it out; the engine grades the meaning, not keyword matching, and puts the canonical statement next to yours so you can see exactly what you left out.

Issue spotter

Read a fact pattern and tag the issues directly in the text. Scored against the complete issue map and weighted by what each issue is actually worth — so you learn where the points hide, not just that you missed some.

MBE at real pacing

Timed 25, 50, and 100-question sets at 1.8 minutes per question, plus full exam-day simulation in the Exam Simulator. Pacing is a skill, and it is trained here rather than discovered on test day.

Majority / minority contrast

Focused drills on exactly where jurisdictions split — always anchored to the rule the UBE expects by default, so you never write the minority rule into a majority answer.

Pick your jurisdiction

Two Exams Exist Right Now. You Only Sit One.

The bar exam is mid-changeover. Ten jurisdictions gave the NextGen bar exam for the first time in July 2026; roughly fifty will have moved by July 2028, and the last legacy UBE administration is February 2028. Tell us where you are sitting and you get that exam — not an average of the two.

Legacy track

The Uniform Bar Examination

The exam most jurisdictions still give, and the one every February and July sitting through February 2028 will use in the jurisdictions that have not converted. Three components, each prepared for separately and scored separately.

  • MBE — the multiple-choice component, trained at 1.8 minutes per question
  • MEE — essays, written under timing and graded against a visible rubric
  • MPT — closed-universe performance tasks in the split-pane workspace

Successor track

The NextGen Bar Exam

NCBE’s replacement, first administered in July 2026. It still tests knowledge, writing, and applied lawyering — but it integrates them rather than splitting them into three separate papers, and it is built around a narrower set of foundational subjects.

  • Built to NCBE’s published NextGen content scope, not a relabelled UBE course
  • Performance tasks in the same graded split-pane workspace
  • Switch tracks free if your jurisdiction’s date moves — both are in one subscription

Two Ways In That Cost Less Than Bar Prep

Bar prep is a ten-week emergency. Neither of these is.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which jurisdictions do you cover?
Both current exams, so effectively all of them. Tell us where you are sitting and you get the legacy UBE track or the NextGen track accordingly. Jurisdiction-specific admission rules, deadlines, and any state-law component are set by your board of bar examiners — we prepare you for the exam, not for the paperwork.
How do I know whether I’m taking NextGen or the UBE?
Your jurisdiction’s board of bar examiners publishes it, and NCBE keeps a public list of adopting jurisdictions and dates. Ten jurisdictions started with NextGen in July 2026, around fifty are expected by July 2028, and the final legacy UBE administration is February 2028. If your date moves, switch tracks inside the subscription at no extra cost.
Is the essay grading actually fair?
You can check it yourself, every single time. Every graded essay comes back with the point-by-point rubric visible — which issues were available, which ones you raised, which rules you stated correctly, and where the points went. Nothing is a black-box score you have to take on faith.
Really unlimited essays?
Yes. No submission caps, no per-essay credits, no “fair use” asterisk. Write ten performance tests in a weekend if that is what you need; the grade comes back in under a minute each time.
Can I cancel?
Any time, in one click. Bar prep is seasonal and the pricing should be too — pay for the months you study and stop when you sit. Annual billing is there if you want the lower rate and know you’ll be at it for a year.
